Schedule from Sunday - Wednesday

Below is a brief summary of the plans from Sunday 23rd August until Wednesday 26th August return to Rome. It is not concrete and will be updated as plans are formalised e.g. timings may change slightly. Sunday - 6pm - Welcome on Rooftop Terrace at our hotel - Room Mate Mia Colosseum. Monday - 11am - Coaches leave from our hotel (Room Mate Mia Colosseum) to go to Wedding Venue (Castello Di Rosciano) - it is around 2 - 2.5 hours by coach Monday - 7pm - Jaggo Party Tuesday - 4pm - Wedding Ceremony Tuesday - 6pm - Cocktail Party and Buffet Tuesday - 8/9pm - Wedding Dinner Tuesday - 10pm - Wedding Party starts, until late Wednesday - 12pm - Coaches leave wedding venue to go back to Rome.

When In Rome

We are flying into Rome on Saturday 22nd August 2026 with our families to kick off the celebrations. We are flying from Manchester on the 9:50am flight arriving in Rome (Ciampino) at 1:35pm (FR 3204). We’ll spend two nights in Rome, soaking up the sunshine, the sights, and (of course) plenty of pasta and pizza! All of our guests are warmly invited to join us for the weekend — whether you’d like to explore the city, relax with an Aperol in hand, or simply enjoy some time in Italy before the wedding. We will be staying at Room Mate Collection Mia - Rome Colosseum during our time in Rome, and there are rooms available if you would like to stay there too. We will be there from Saturday 22nd to Monday 24th August. Coach to Castello di Rosciano

On Monday 24th August 2026, we’ll leave Rome together and travel to our wedding venue! The coach will be departing directly from Room Mate Collection Mia - Rome Colosseum on Monday morning around 11am. We will provide more information on this closer to the time.

When in Rome

We’ll all arrive at Castello di Rosciano in time for check-in at 2:30pm on Monday 24th August 2026. Before the celebrations begin, take some time to explore the castle grounds, enjoy the views, or relax by the pool — until it’s time to get ready for the Jaggo party! The Jaggo will take place that evening and marks the start of our wedding celebrations. Traditionally held before the wedding day, it’s a vibrant Punjabi-style party filled with music and dancing. It will be a night to celebrate the bride and groom and bring both families together. Indian dress is encouraged, but most importantly, wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and be ready to dance! There will be Indian music, food, and plenty of dancing.

We’ll be saying "I do" on Tuesday 25th August 2026 — a day we can’t wait to share with all of you. The morning will be relaxed and easy. Join us downstairs for breakfast, then spend the morning unwinding by the pool or enjoying the beautiful castle grounds. Breakfast is included with your stay, and lunch will be available to purchase from the venue. Our ceremony will begin at 4pm, followed by cocktails and an Italian-style buffet as the sun sets over the hills. Dinner will be served around 8/9pm, followed by an evening of music, dancing, and celebrations under the stars. Please dress to impress — and a gentle note for the ladies: we kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white, cream, or ivory on the day.

Ciao for Now

Check-out from Castello di Rosciano will be on Wednesday 26th August 2026. For guests travelling back to Rome, we’ll be arranging coaches once again. Details and timings will be shared soon on the Travel page. We will be staying in Rome again from Wednesday until Friday with our families, if anyone wants to join us to extend the celebrations. We are staying at Naman Hotellerie - Margutta, Via Margutta, 60. If you’re continuing your Italian adventure, the city of Perugia is just 25 minutes away from our venue — a beautiful spot to explore, with both a train station and an airport for onward travel. Whether you’re heading home or off to your next destination, we can’t thank you enough for being part of our celebration. See you all again soon. Ciao for now!

Your Stay at the Castle

All of our guests are able to stay together at Castello di Rosciano, our beautiful historic wedding venue nestled in the rolling Umbrian hills. Once we’ve received your RSVP, a room can be reserved for you, and we’ll be in touch with more details about room allocations and costs. The approximate cost is £200 per double room per night, but we’ll confirm this once we know final numbers. Breakfast and refreshments are included, so you can relax and enjoy your time at the castle. All bookings and payments will be organised directly through us, so there’s no need to contact the venue — they’ve kindly asked that all communication goes through us. If you wish to stay elsewhere (a hotel or airbnb nearby) then please just note you will require a car to get to and from the venue as taxis will not be available late at night.

Accommodation

Flights

There are flight options available from around the UK, including Manchester, Birmingham, and London Stansted. Flights from the UK arrive into either Rome Ciampino (CIA) or Rome Fiumicino (FCO). Some UK airports also offer flights to Perugia (PEG), which is the closest airport to our venue. If you’re flying into Rome on Monday 24th August, please make sure your flight arrives allowing plenty of time to arrive at the venue and get ready before the evening celebrations begin at 7pm. Please note that if you are intending to travel on the coach, this will leave from Rome City Centre at 11:30am, and travelling to the centre of Rome from the airport takes around 45-60 minutes. For those flying from London Stansted to Perugia, please note that this route operates Sunday to Thursday, and unfortunately the Monday flight arrives too late for the start of the wedding celebrations.

Coach Transfers

We’ll be arranging coach transport from our hotel in Rome city centre to Castello di Rosciano on Monday 24th August 2026, arriving in time for check-in and the evening celebrations. Return transport back to Rome will also be arranged for Wednesday 26th August 2026. We understand that some guests may prefer to make their own travel arrangements, so we’ll be in touch closer to the time to confirm who would like to join the group transport. Once timings and details are finalised, we’ll update this page with all the information you’ll need for a smooth journey.
